Bed and Breakfast "De Heerlijkheid van Noordwelle" is located in the middle of the island of Schouwen-Duiveland in a small and quiet village near the beautiful and bustling seaside resort Renesse. Its central location makes it the ideal base for long walks and cycling trips to the 21-kilometre-long beach or the beautiful nature reserve of Westerschouwen with its forests, dunes and lakes. There are so many options for trips such as to historic villages, medieval towns, museums or to a winery. For sports enthusiasts, there is also a lot to do such as horse riding, gliding, mountain biking and all forms of water sports.
The Bed and Breakfast is located in a monumental house on the Dorpsring along the church. There are five rooms to rent for one or two persons and the common living room all comfortably and cosily furnished. The garden has a Mediterranean atmosphere with palm trees and several seating areas to enjoy. A large heated swimming pool is surrounded by deck chairs for sunbathing. All rooms are slightly different and have a different price but with the same large comfortable beds and a modern bathroom.
Breakfast is surprising, healthy and with delicious, pure and artisanal products.

About us
We, Louis and Rachel, are the owners of this Bed & Breakfast. We are now known for our delicious breakfast and like to welcome our guests with a welcome drink and a chat to get acquainted. The B&B is located in a quiet picturesque village, yet close to the bustle and excitement of Renesse, the Brouwersdam and Zierikzee, and in the middle of the beautiful Zeeland countryside.
You can make a reservation through our reservation system or through Booking.com. The price is lower through our reservation system! From November onwards, the reservation system is available for the following year.
* In March and October, we are only open on weekends (from Thursday or Friday to Sunday or Monday). Saturday is not a check-in/check-out day throughout the year!
* In June, July, August and September, you can arrive on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday or Friday
Unfortunately, we have had to adjust our prices due to the increase in the VAT rate for hotels, among other things, by the Dutch government from 9% to 21%.
GROUPS are welcome, but you rent rooms (maximum 5 double rooms) in our B&B and not the entire house. The living room and garden with swimming pool are accessible to all guests.
GUESTS are not allowed to use our kitchen and no meals may be prepared or consumed. Please be considerate of other guests staying with us.
